The OVUM Story

OVUM is a UK fertility supplement brand founded to bring clarity, clinical integrity and evidence-based support to the reproductive journey, from preconception through pregnancy. With doctor-designed formulations, PIF TICK accreditation, and clinically backed products for egg quality, sperm health, and prenatal care, OVUM delivers trusted, practitioner-recommended fertility support grounded in science and transparency.

OVUM was born from a place of personal frustration. When our founder Jenny Wordsworth was navigating her own fertility journey, she found an industry full of conflicting information, poor science, and products that didn't reflect the real needs of people trying to conceive. She set out to change that, and OVUM was the result.

Today, OVUM supports people from preconception through pregnancy, with a range of
doctor-designed, science-backed products built to the highest standards of evidence and transparency. We're proud to be the only fertility supplement brand in the UK to hold PIF TICK accreditation, the official quality mark for trustworthy health information. Every piece of content we publish is accurate, evidence-based, and reviewed by qualified advisors.

Our range covers every stage of the reproductive journey. Time to Conceive® For Women is a preconception supplement formulated to support egg quality, listed on IVF patient protocols in 29+ clinics across the UK and Ireland and backed by 550+ clinical studies. Time to Conceive® For Men supports sperm health with a targeted formulation including Acetyl L-Carnitine, L-Carnitine L-Tartrate, and MicroActive® CoQ10, backed by 120+ clinical studies. Our prenatal supplement Time to Carry® provides comprehensive nutritional support across all trimesters, with a double-folate approach, 400mg Choline, Iron bisglycinate, and is backed by 125+ studies.

For those waiting on results, our Early Detection Pregnancy Tests offer 99% accuracy from three days before an expected period, with the option to test up to five days early. We know that taking a test can be one of the most emotionally loaded moments of the fertility journey, whatever result appears in that window. That's why every OVUM test includes access to a guided meditation, designed to offer calm and support whether the result brings joy, grief, relief, or something in between. It's a small thing, but it reflects something we believe deeply: that the emotional side of fertility deserves just as much attention as the clinical side. Our tests are also fully recyclable, because we think sustainability matters at every stage of the journey.

Practitioners are central to what we do. We work closely with clinicians across the UK to ensure our formulations are clinically relevant and practically useful, and we're committed to giving practitioners the tools and knowledge they need to recommend with confidence. Our CPD-accredited on-demand training series, presented by Dr Phoebe Howells, OVUM's Chief Medical Officer, is available to practitioners who want to deepen their understanding of our formulations and the science behind them.

Ethical practice sits at the core of everything we do. We're B Corp certified, Plastic Negative, and we reinvest 20% of our profits into independent fertility research and awareness. We reject manipulative marketing, triggering imagery, and over-promises. We never assume a positive outcome, and we never assume a particular path to parenthood. Our community includes people trying to conceive spontaneously, through IVF, egg freezing, donor conception, and beyond, across all identities, relationships, and family structures.

We're Created by Women, Designed by Doctors, and Ethical to the Core. Where support meets science.
