Description
Aperitif is a premium diamine oxidase (DAO) enzyme supplement formulated for histamine intolerance and DAO deficiency. Each delayed-release capsule delivers a market-leading 48,000 HDU (histamine degrading units) alongside vitamin C to support enzyme activity and bioavailability.
DAO is the primary enzyme responsible for breaking down dietary histamine. Aperitif's delayed-release capsule resists stomach acid and releases the enzyme at the correct pH in the intestinal tract, where it acts locally on food-derived histamine.
Take one capsule 15–20 minutes before high-histamine food or drink, swallowed whole. Maximum three capsules daily. Suitable for occasional use before any high histamine meals or as ongoing mealtime support during elimination and reintroduction protocols. Not suitable for vegetarians (DAO is porcine-derived).
