Benfotiamine is a well tolerated, highly bioavailable, lipid-soluble form of thiamin (vitamin B1). Enhanced delivery to fatty tissues helps benfotiamine to support the healthy function of fatty tissues and cells which are surrounded by lipid-rich structures, such as the myelin sheath surrounding many nerve cells in the body.

Benfotiamine has been shown in multiple human studies to help restore thiamin levels and nourish nerve cells, helping to support healthy nerve function in the feet and legs, and throughout the body. In addition to benfotiamine, NeuRemedy® Ultra also contains vitamin B12 in its most bioavailable form, methylcobalamin. Vitamin B12 is required for the maintenance of myelin sheath integrity, and is included in the formula as a support nutrient.

The combination of fat-soluble benfotiamine and methylated vitamin B12 in NeuRemedy® Ultra is intended to help restore thiamine levels and promote proper nerve cell function in people experiencing unpleasant sensations of pain, numbness, or tingling in the extremities. Each two capsule serving provides 300 mg of benfotiamine. Suggested use for the product is to begin with a loading dose of two capsules, two times per day, for the first month of use, followed by a maintenance dose of two capsules, once per day.
