InflamAway™ supports healthy activity of the inflammatory response function by encouraging normal and natural processes of cytokines and prostaglandins. It features Boswellin Super®, a select extract of Frankincense (Boswellia serrata) which is standardized to 30% AKBA and 50% B-boswellic acid. AKBA is a natural compound that reduces LOX-5 and COX-2, as well as other activators. Additionally, InflamAway™ works at the cellular level to modulate important pathways to protect the body from the buildup of cellular by-products generated by the inflammatory response function.

Boswellin® Super Indian Frankincense (Boswellia serrata), highly revered in Ayurvedic medicine for its powerful action on the body, is used in Chinese medicine to move and invigorate the blood. Boswellin® Super is a very concentrated and pure form of this ancient herb. The compounds in Frankincense demonstrate an ability to modulate the inflammatory response system by reducing key mediators of the arachidonic acid cascade.

Feverfew Many researchers attribute Feverfew’s properties to the presence of parthenolide, a sesquiterpene lactone which helps to modulate the inflammatory response function process and maintain healthy cells in the body.

Magnolia Bark Magnolia Bark, known for its aromatic properties, has been used to support a healthy stress response. InflamAway™ utilizes a Magnolia Bark extract standardized to 50% honokiol, the barks’ most important and well-researched constituent. This compound has recently been shown to inhibit the formation of new blood vessels (anti-angiogenic) in-vivo and in-vitro through a variety of mechanisms such as vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) inhibition.

Andrographis Andrographis is a Chinese herbal medicine well-known for its potent liver-protective properties. It is very cooling, removes heat and is appropriately named “King of the Bitters”.

Chinese Baikal Skullcap Chinese Baikal Skullcap’s array of flavonoids contributes to its action on the liver’s detoxification process, where it supports the healthy removal of chemical challenges. This herb encourages a healthy immune defense system, particularly when the body is subjected to environmental challenges.

Ginger, Bromelain and BioPerine® These natural ingredients are added to InflamAway™ for their synergistic effects in promoting healthy inflammatory response. Bromelain, a natural enzyme found in pineapple, is used to support digestion and helps to support a healthy inflammatory system response.

BioPerine® is a natural extract from black pepper, found to promote absorption of nutrients. In herbal traditions, both Ginger and Black Pepper are used to promote digestion.
