G.I. Hist Support - 60 Capsules | Neurobiologix

Description

G.I. Hist Support is a formula designed to assist patients who have trouble processing external sources of histamine rich foods and nutritional elements. This formula is especially helpful for those with genetic weaknesses in A01C (Diamine Oxidase), the main enzyme responsible for the degradation of ingested histamine.*

The active ingredient in G.I. Hist Support is porcine-derived diamine oxidase, and research suggests that DAO derived from porcine kidney appears to have identical action to DAO derived from porcine intestine.

An impaired histamine degradation based on reduced A01C (Diamine Oxidase) activity and the resulting histamine excess may cause numerous symptoms mimicking an allergic reaction. The ingestion of histamine-rich food or of alcohol or drugs that release histamine or block diamine oxidase may provoke stomach issues, headache, flushing and other conditions in patients with histamine intolerance. Diamine oxidase from porcine kidney may help assist with these types of issues.*

Histamine is not only produced in the body but is also present in many fermented foods, such as sauerkraut, sausage, cheese, yoghurt, and alcoholic beverages. Tuna, olives, spinach, eggplant, avocados, tomatoes, cherries, and citrus fruits are other histamine-containing foods which may cause GI irritation or histamine related reactions.

Porcine Kidney: The active ingredient in G.I. Hist Support is porcine kidney derived diamine oxidase, and research suggests that DAO derived from porcine kidney appears to have identical action to DAO derived from porcine intestine.*

Stinging Nettles: Studies have shown stinging nettles, through clinical results, has demonstrated both promising mechanisms for supporting nasal passageway health. While further study is needed, trials have shown stinging nettles showed measurable differences vs. placebo after only one week.*

Bromelain: A pineapple enzyme, bromelain has proven mucolytic properties. As such, bromelain supports normal mucousal tissue function and enhances the absorption of quercetin.*

N-Acetyl L-Cysteine (NAC): An amino acid that is a natural mucolytic, NAC reduces the viscosity of mucus. Studies have shown individuals have been treated effectively without side effects when given NAC which is used in many nutritional supplements.*
