The Roadmap Series VII: Mapping Histamine & Female Health Conditions

23rd July 2024 | Hives, Headaches, Anxiety, Insomnia and Brain fog are just a few of the symptoms of mast cell activation or high histamine.

Histamine symptoms are more common in women and often track with the menstrual cycle, occurring when oestrogen is higher at ovulation, again just before the period and in perimenopause.

In our last Roadmap before the summer break, Tanya explained the connection between mast cells, histamine metabolism and the hormones; oestrogen progesterone and cortisol and discussed what tools you have in your kit bag to support these clients.

Recorded live on the 23rd of July
